We have been supplying restaurants, caterers, hotels and shops with Japanese ingredients and products for 50 years. Kikkoman soy sauce, Sapporo beer, Kinjirushi wasabi, Hakutsuru sake and Uchibori rice vinegar are but a few of the huge assortment of products and ingredients that we can offer our customers.
Japanese dishes are unique and in total harmony. Incorporating traditional and modern dishes inspires us to create new preparations and flavours using products such as miso and yuzu.

''The Japanese influence is completely interlinked with present-day cuisine. You know that the products Yama offers are TOP QUALITY!''
Japan. The cuisine epitomises simplicity and serenity. It represents a dynamic, balanced life. Japan… the land of unlimited possibilities.
Yama has been importing (Kikkoman) soy sauce, the basic ingredient of Japanese cuisine, for over 60 years. We also supply a large variety of sauces including: Yakitori, Teriyaki Mirin, Miso yuzu and Unagi Kabayaki sauce.
The basis for Japanese dressings is soy sauce. Ponzu, yuzu, wasabi and tonkatsu dressing all contain regulated amounts of oil but are full of flavour and excellent accompaniments to salads or as dip sauces.
Our product assortment includes an excellent selection of sushi rice produced and imported from Japan, U.S.A. and Europe. We supply the finest sushi vinegar, yakinori and dried or fresh wasabi.
We offer an extensive selection of Japanese finger food such as Yakitori, Tatsuta, Kara-Age and Gyoza.
We supply top quality frozen or dried green tea. Hakutsuru sake from the largest Japanese brewery and other excellent sake from smaller, local Japanese breweries. Sake for every occasion, warm or cold.
Yama supplies a large variety of high quality noodles. Ramen noodles, Udon noodles and Soba noodles to name but a few. Noodles have replaced sushi as the new food hype!
”I use many of Yama’s products in my recipes e.g. soy sauce, white ginger, sake, rice vinegar, seaweed, sesame and ponzu dressing. I use it when making Zeeland fish and shell fish dishes. I love Japanese food and want to emphasise this more in my kitchen.”
