Kinjirushi
金印

Kinjirushi literally means ‘the best', which is exactly what this brand offers. The company has been producing wasabi products of exceptional quality for over 80 years. They use pure local ingredients, such as horseradish that is specially grown for them in Hokkaido. They were one of the first to teach western chefs how to use wasabi to achieve the best, most refreshing and exciting flavour effects. For example, did you know that you shouldn't mix wasabi with soy sauce? Doing so ruins the flavour of the wasabi.

Sapporo
サッポロビール

Japan's oldest beer brand dates was established in 1876 in Sapporo, the capital of the northern island of Hokkaido. Sapporo was first brewed by Seibei Nakagawa, Japan's first brewer to be trained in Germany. He combined traditional German brewing techniques with Japanese craftsmanship to create a perfectly refreshing bïru. Today, Sapporo is a favourite of many and it is the most popular Asian beer in the United States.
